Christopher Tisack

July 29, 1966 ~ October 28, 2023

With deepest sorrow and hearts broken, we say good-bye to our precious Christopher Tisack who went to heaven on October 28, 2023 at the age of 57 after a long and valiant battle with cancer.

Chris was an amazing and inspiring light in the lives of those who knew and loved him. From early on he had big dreams and set goals and strived throughout his life to achieve them. He joined the Navy and
after discharge, he started a successful business with his mother and family which they ran together for many years. During this time, he met and married his wife Cheree’ of 35 years. After his family sold the
business, he then turned to his biggest passion treasure hunting and salvage of the 1715 fleet on the treasure coast. Ever the adventurer Chris also spent time in Hollywood as an extra actor in several movies and tv shows, and he took flying lessons and flew a plane solo. But his love for treasure diving in the Florida Treasure Coast was calling to his heart and he returned to pursue this passion.

Chris was a loving husband, son, brother, uncle, nephew, grandson, friend, and mate and he will be greatly missed.

Chris is survived by his wife of 35 years, Cheree’ Tisack; his mother, Sally Mayhue; his father, Frances “Buss” Tisack; his step-mother, Barbara Tisack; his sister, Wendy Withers; his brother, James Tisack; his
half-sister, Michelle Rice; his step-sister, Sheila Darling; many loving nieces; great-nieces; nephews; great-nephews; cousins; aunts; and uncles.

He is pre-deceased by his step-father, Henry Mayhue; maternal grand-parents; paternal grand-parents; and aunts and uncles.

A Celebration of Life to honor Chris’s memory and to fulfill his final wishes will be held at a date and time to be determined.

  • The service from Millennium was outstanding. Rachel was sweet, personable and very comforting. It was important to me that my dad was kept locally where I knew where he would be. Very nice facility, state of the art and quality of my fathers remains were so refined compared to my mothers years ago. I highly recommend this place for an affordable choice for your loved one. Thank you for making an already stressful event easy. With high regards, the Esposito and Keith Family.

  • Millennium Cremation provided a fantastic service to our family at a difficult time. Our beloved mother passed away in Vero Beach and the rest of the family was in other parts of the country. Due to the Covid health crisis, none of us could get to Vero Beach in person. That's where Millennium took over. They helped us manage everything, coordinated with a cemetery in Maine, managed the obituaries, expedited all the paperwork, and even delivered an important document locally that saved us days. Funeral director Rachel was a godsend, and she made it clear what she was going to do, and what we needed to do. If you know what you want, Millennium is highly recommended, and the savings versus the full service mortuaries is significant.
