Curtis Lancashire, 69, of Vero Beach, Florida passed away on July 4, 2022.
He was born June 26, 1953 in Fall River, Massachusetts to Samuel and Lillian Lancashire of Somerset, Massachusetts. He was a graduate of Somerset High School.
Curtis resided in Vero Beach for the last year coming from Middletown, Rhode Island.
Curt worked for Moran Towing in New York City for many years. During the last years of his career he worked for Seaward Services on the 841 at Stillwater Basin in Newport, a weapons retrieval vessel, as Chief Engineer.
His greatest love was being on the water, and spent most of his life in Newport. He was a member of the Protective Club in Newport, the Alvets Club and was active with the VFW in Middletown.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Samuel and Lillian and his brothers, Sandy and David Lancashire.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Ellen O’Connor; sister, Christine Cassel and his mother-in-law, Jean O’Connor.
A celebration of Curt’s life is planned for a later date.

We all go way back with Curt and are happy he got to live with you and mom for a little while anyways. I am sure he was happy there and I know mom really liked “Lou” alot. We will miss him. Sorry for your loss Mare. Sending our love and hugs. The Brennan crew♥️
