Dale Brownhill

January 28, 1958 ~ May 25, 2024

Dale Brownhill, 66, was born in Denver, Colorado on January 28, 1958 to Christine and Donald Brownhill. He passed away in his home in Sebastian, Florida on May 25, 2024. Dale lived in Brockport, New York, where he started his first business as a tree surgeon. Later, he moved to Florida and ventured into real estate as a landlord, establishing Fresh Start Apartments. In his retirement, Dale and his wife pursued their passion for exotic breeding, founding Crazy for Chondros and Busy Breeding Tortoises from their home, where he peacefully passed away years later.

Dale was an adoring husband, father, grandfather, brother, confidant, leader, teacher, protector, and best friend. He was known for his passion, hard work, wisdom, adventurous spirit, athleticism, and willingness to lend a helping hand. His love for animals was evident in his dedication to caring for them.

A loving, loyal, and knowledgeable man, Dale had an infectious excitement for living life to its fullest. He was a servant of God and someone you could always count on. With a pure and kind soul, he had a contagious smile that brightened the lives of those around him.

Dale had a wide range of hobbies and passions, including learning and caring for his animals, history, hunting, landscaping, boating, scuba diving, spearfishing, construction, and traveling, among others.

He is survived by his wife Megan Quinn Brownhill, his children Danny Brownhill and Katie Walker, and their three dogs, Amos, Katerina, and Lumi. The names of his grandchildren are not known at this time.

The memory of Dale’s warmth, kindness, guidance, and unconditional love will continue to uplift all those whose hearts he touched. Though he is no longer with us, we are grateful for the gentle and sweet memories he has left behind in our homes, minds, and hearts. May he rest in peace.

  • The service from Millennium was outstanding. Rachel was sweet, personable and very comforting. It was important to me that my dad was kept locally where I knew where he would be. Very nice facility, state of the art and quality of my fathers remains were so refined compared to my mothers years ago. I highly recommend this place for an affordable choice for your loved one. Thank you for making an already stressful event easy. With high regards, the Esposito and Keith Family.

  • Millennium Cremation provided a fantastic service to our family at a difficult time. Our beloved mother passed away in Vero Beach and the rest of the family was in other parts of the country. Due to the Covid health crisis, none of us could get to Vero Beach in person. That's where Millennium took over. They helped us manage everything, coordinated with a cemetery in Maine, managed the obituaries, expedited all the paperwork, and even delivered an important document locally that saved us days. Funeral director Rachel was a godsend, and she made it clear what she was going to do, and what we needed to do. If you know what you want, Millennium is highly recommended, and the savings versus the full service mortuaries is significant.
