Dana C Harrison

September 09, 1956 ~ February 05, 2024

Dana Catherine Pruce Harrison, 67, a resident of West Melbourne, Florida, gained her angel
wings on Monday, February 5, 2024. Dana was born in Rochester, New York, on September 9,

1956, to Casimer Pruce and Nancy Shaw.
Dana is survived by her husband of 19 years, William (Bill) Kycek and their faithful dog, Frankie;
her brother Jamison; her sisters-in-law and their husbands, Therese (Ray) and Laura (Luigi);
nieces and nephews Shannon, Bryan (Trisha), Ashlyn (Dan), Alex and Andrew; her great nieces
and nephews, Jared (Kenzie), BriAnn, Sid, and Jacob; her great-great nephew Wyatt; and many
cousins and friends.
Dana was a hairdresser and took great care of her clients, finishing her career at Cost Cutters in
Indian Harbour Beach. While working at various hair salons throughout her life, she made
long-lasting friendships with many of her co-workers and clients.
A huge Jackson Browne fan, one of her greatest memories was meeting him in person. She
absolutely loved shopping, fashion, designer purses, sharing stories, traveling, music and
spending time with family and friends.
There will be a gathering of family and friends posted on her Facebook page at a later date.
Donations in her honor may be made to the place where Dana and Bill rescued their dogs, Bart
and Frankie, at the Brevard County Animal Services, 5100 West Eau Gallie Boulevard,
Melbourne, FL 32934.

My middle school best friend in Indialantic, FL. Dana will always be a bright and joyful presence in my heart. I love our childhood days of laughter, comic books, dancing, singing, riding bikes, swimming, and doing cartwheels off the diving board at the yacht club. Her mother was gorgeous beyond description and her father was wise, funny, safe, and caring. She has the best big brother possible. Her husband, Bill is so kind and good and their beloved Frankie, completed their precious family. Dana, you will be missed until I see you and hug you on the other side. ♥️

Dana, I have many fond memories of the fun times we had . You were a great friend. I am glad I got to share memories and photos with you last year and to see that you even made it your Facebook profile photo. That made me smile every time I saw it. Also it was nice to look back at our young fun, crazy days . Every time I saw your Facebook, it made me Smile. Now you are with your mom who I know you loved and missed so dearly. Fly with the Angels and be the free spirit that l knew you to be

  • The service from Millennium was outstanding. Rachel was sweet, personable and very comforting. It was important to me that my dad was kept locally where I knew where he would be. Very nice facility, state of the art and quality of my fathers remains were so refined compared to my mothers years ago. I highly recommend this place for an affordable choice for your loved one. Thank you for making an already stressful event easy. With high regards, the Esposito and Keith Family.

  • Millennium Cremation provided a fantastic service to our family at a difficult time. Our beloved mother passed away in Vero Beach and the rest of the family was in other parts of the country. Due to the Covid health crisis, none of us could get to Vero Beach in person. That's where Millennium took over. They helped us manage everything, coordinated with a cemetery in Maine, managed the obituaries, expedited all the paperwork, and even delivered an important document locally that saved us days. Funeral director Rachel was a godsend, and she made it clear what she was going to do, and what we needed to do. If you know what you want, Millennium is highly recommended, and the savings versus the full service mortuaries is significant.
