Daniel E. Kressler, 76, of Vero Beach, Florida, passed away May 4, 2024.
He was born in Toledo, OH and lived in Vero Beach as a child and young man. He moved back to Vero in 1984 with his son coming from Indianapolis, IN.
Daniel graduated from Miami-Dade Community College with a degree in Mortuary Science. As a Funeral Director and Embalmer, he held a license in Indiana and Florida. While in Florida, Danny worked at Cox Gifford Funeral Home and Strunk Funeral Home, having retired in the early 1990s. Following his retirement from the funeral industry, he began a career in sales working Velde Ford and Vatland Honda. In the late 1990s he moved on from the Car Salesman and worked as a salesman for Allied Van Lines in Vero Beach.
Danny was raised in the catholic church and, as a child, served as altar server at St. Helen Catholic Church in Vero Beach. He was an avid golfer, he enjoyed surfing, but most of all, Danny loved playing softball. While in Indianapolis, he played for the Sharks and joined many men’s leagues in Vero Beach.
He leaves his memories to be cherished by his son, Cole Kressler of Vero Beach; sister, Julie Kressler of St. Petersburg, FL and many long-time friends such Greg & Deb Vihon and Thomas Gale. He was predeceased by his parents, James and Marjorie Kressler.
At the request of the family, services will be private.
