On March 8, 2026, David John Taylor passed away at his home in West Melbourne, FL., after a long-term illness with complications of Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension.
David was born in Stockport, Cheshire, England, on June 6, 1949, to Maurice and Marian Taylor (formerly Knight), both of whom are deceased. He had a brother, Michael James Taylor, who died in December 2008.
David is survived by his wife of 26 years, Patricia; his stepson, William Smith (Michelle), who resides in West Virginia, USA; David’s son, Lee Grant Taylor (Clare); their daughter Shannon (and family); and his beloved grandson, Cian, who resides in Kinmel Bay, North Wales, UK; and his daughter Jacqui Carroll (Darren) and his granddaughters Skye and Summer Carroll, who reside in Inverness, Scotland, UK. And lastly, we cannot omit David’s beloved pets, Maisy and Alfie, who gave him so much joy during his life.
David entered the Royal Air Force in the United Kingdom at age 16 as a cadet and retired honorably. He moved to Florida in 2012 to retire, but worked part-time at Publix until his illness in 2021, where he made many, many friends.
