Our beautiful and loving Edward Wake of Vero Beach Florida, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, April 13, 2021.
He is survived by his sisters Carrie Wake and Louise Manion, brother-in-law Larry Manion,
brother Tom Wake, sister-in-law Joli Wake, nephew Tim Wake, niece Sarah Wake, grandnieces
Maddison Wake, Mallory Wake, Makenzie Carroll, Morgan Carroll, Kasia Wake, Emilka Wake, and his fur babies Brianna and Spooky.
Edward was a special man; a loving brother and uncle. He became a friend to everyone he met. Once a patient surviving two brain surgeries, Edward volunteered at the Cleveland Clinic in Vero Beach to give back to the hospital that helped him to live through that experience. Edward also enjoyed his job working at The Publix Supermarket.
Edward lived life to the fullest and was active in many things from attending Westminster Presbyterian Church to Zumba Classes and PFLAG.

My condolences to the Wake Family. Edward was the SWEEEEETTTEST soul, I have ever known. He effected every one, he met, with his huge smile and sweet spirit. Edward was a WARRIOR and survived health issues, that others, may have not.
My heart goes out to his family and friends. We will miss you Sweetheart.

My heartfelt condolences as well to the Wake family.
Edward was a joy to know, a loving and caring man. Edward thought of others and participated in many fund raising and community projects, always in the highest spirit of goodwill. I will miss my bowling buddy, yard sale helper, pet caretaker and friend.
He truly was our PFLAG Angel.

Richard, Abby (our furry baby ), and I send our deepest, heartfelt condolences to the Wake family. Edward was truly one of a kind. He was the kindest soul we were blessed to have known. He was always ready to volunteer and help with any of PFLAG’s activities and charitable endeavors. We will personally miss his friendship as we spent many dinners, outings to the movies, and Tuesday night bowling with him. RIP dear, sweet friend. We love and will miss you terribly. ❤️

To the WAKE family. I knew Edward through the Volunteers at the hospital. He was alway so happy and eager to get to work. We always discussed his furry friends. (Cats). I saw him at 12th Street Publix only a week ago. RIP sweet EdWard. We all loved him and will miss his precious smile.

My condolences to the Wake family. Edward was a very kind person. I met him years ago at my place of employment and enjoyed speaking to him then. It was always such a joy to see and talk with him when I would go to Publix. He always made my daughter and I feel special. I will truly miss him.

Edward was a wonderful person, full of life and love (like the Valentine baby he was). He worked with me at the Village Pet Inn for several years. He loved all the guests but especially Cindy Lauren, a tiny Yorkie, who loved him back just as much! My sincerest sympathies to the Wake family. I will miss him greatly.

Our sweet Edward,…..always there to help, always with a smile, always so unassuming. Even with life’s challenges ever so present,….this guy was ready to lend himself to any task within his ability and if it was not, he was ready to learn.
Volunteering was second nature to him. “Mister Congeniality “, you will be missed by all who knew you. Condolences to the Wake family, your loss is ours as well.

Edward changed the people he met for the better. He taught love and kindness in the way he lived and treated everyone. To know Edward was to have a friend. Strangers were only friends that Edward had not yet met. Animals bonded with Edward because they knew his heart to be true. The world is less without this gentle man, but the heavens needed him home to complete the mission of his magical soul. Rest in peace dear sweet man. We will look to the sky for the glow of your spirit watching over us all with love.

I had known Edward through our monthly meetings. Many an evening, I would give him a lift home. He always lifted my spirits & was friendly to any & all. It was a beautiful service that my friends & I attended. Thank you to the Wake family & to his church!
