Eric Robert DeHoroch

September 17, 1965 ~ May 15, 2024

Eric Robert DeHoroch, 58, peacefully passed away on Wednesday, May 15th 2024 in Stuart, FL surrounded by his family. He was born on September 17th, 1965 in Brunswick, ME to Reinhold & Phyllis DeHoroch. He grew up in Linden, NJ, and later attended Stevens Institute of Technology. He met his wife Amy Chieffo and they married in 1990. Eric managed a successful business with Amy for over 20 years in Milford, Delaware. They had their daughter, Kelly, in 1997. In 2011, they moved to their little piece of paradise in Port Saint Lucie, FL. Eric was an animal lover who cared deeply for his dogs. He loved sports, most importantly Mets baseball and Cowboys football. He enjoyed music, boating, painting, and always loved his family traditions during the holiday season. Eric was thoughtful, generous, and would always help in someone’s time of need. Despite his health issues over the last many years, he persevered through many difficult challenges with his family by his side. His proudest moment was being able to walk his daughter down the aisle at her wedding in October 2023. He was intelligent, had a witty sense of humor, and was a loyal son, husband, and father. He is deeply missed by his family and friends.

  • The service from Millennium was outstanding. Rachel was sweet, personable and very comforting. It was important to me that my dad was kept locally where I knew where he would be. Very nice facility, state of the art and quality of my fathers remains were so refined compared to my mothers years ago. I highly recommend this place for an affordable choice for your loved one. Thank you for making an already stressful event easy. With high regards, the Esposito and Keith Family.

  • Millennium Cremation provided a fantastic service to our family at a difficult time. Our beloved mother passed away in Vero Beach and the rest of the family was in other parts of the country. Due to the Covid health crisis, none of us could get to Vero Beach in person. That's where Millennium took over. They helped us manage everything, coordinated with a cemetery in Maine, managed the obituaries, expedited all the paperwork, and even delivered an important document locally that saved us days. Funeral director Rachel was a godsend, and she made it clear what she was going to do, and what we needed to do. If you know what you want, Millennium is highly recommended, and the savings versus the full service mortuaries is significant.
