Gail was the cherished wife of James Speirs and the devoted mother to her beloved son, Luc Vareilles. She was preceded in passing by her father, Richard Conley, her mother, Phyllis Gurman Conley, and her dear brother, Richard Conley. Over the past three years, she faced a serious illness with unwavering dignity, courage, and grace, finding solace in the tranquil embrace of her new home in Florida, a place that offered her comfort, serenity, and renewed hope. Dearest Gail,
I have so many beautiful memories thanks to you. Your wisdom was beyond your years, your light surpassed all boundaries. Nothing could contain or match it.
I am so very thankful that I had you in my life. The songs, laughter, cocktails, meals, books, advice… I cherish each memory, each moment.
Your strength, grace and practical advice on love and life made me a stronger, better human. We were all blessed to know and love you. Now, I hope you and Phyllis are together…Phyllis leading the shows and perhaps singing the songs you write. Oh how the other Ángels will rejoice with you two in their company.
Dearest Jim, Luc, Carson and Phil,
I cannot fathom your loss and your feelings. I truly cannot. However, if this brings you any comfort, please know we are all so very thankful that you shared your Gail with us. We miss her dearly and offer our support to you anytime, any way.
With Love and Sorrow,
Paula

A wonderful light that shined so bright. She was my cousin and was so thoughtful in tracing our family roots and sharing her findings. Rest in peace you brought so many together. Thank you

Luc,
I didn’t have the pleasure of meeting your mom but do have vivid memories of how you spoke of your bond with her! I am so deeply sorry for your loss and am sending you all my love and support always!
“Words seem so feeble in moments like these. Life is so precious, and death such a thief. The depths of your pain
I cannot comprehend, but I’ll stand alongside you in the darkness, my friend. Love is a bond that death cannot part. Gone from your arms, but still held in your heart.” -JM Green
