Genevieve Geraldine “Gerry” Gorman formerly of Valley Cottage, New York was proudly accepted into God’s Heavenly Kingdom at approximately 0711am on March 7, 2022, at the age of 87 in Vero Beach, Florida. She was the beloved mother of sons, William Guy Gorman and Michael Thomas Gorman (predeceased); daughter, Genine Marie Gorman and grandmother to Matthew Michael, Kayla Theresa and Keith Edward Gorman. Born March 3, 1935, to Clifford Masten Haring and Gladys Smith Haring she is survived by her former husband William Thomas Gorman of Congers NY and eldest brother Wayne William Haring Sr of Pearl River NY. She was predeceased by her brothers Bernard Haring of Nanuet, Clifford Haring of Kerhonksen and Victor Haring of Wurtsboro. Gerry was 1952 alumni of Congers NY HS and enjoyed attending many reunions with her friends throughout the years. After working as a Surrogate Court Clerk & Peace Officer in Rockland and Westchester Counties, in retirement she was the Vice President of her Seniors Club and stayed active as an avid dancer, roller skater, poet, and dabbling artist. She loved playing the piano, traveling, hiking, music and books of every genre. Her life’s adventure even brought her to live on the island of Oahu in Hawaii where her daughter resided.
