Remembering fun times with Crab and his delicious paella. I write this from Spain and we had paella and thought of him immediately. And then we heard of his sad passing. A great guy with a great smile. Fay and Jonathan Salt

Just saw this-very sad-what a great guy-I remember him telling me around 1970 that the Cuban education system was the best in the world at the time for children and all kids under age 9 could read and write (the USA might have been 50% at the time) and they were self sufficient as young teenagers. He was proud of that. I really enjoyed his company. He was open and honest and fun. I have often wondered about him over the years and I have used his quote my whole life. My deepest condolences to all his loved ones, Jimmy Skeadas

Here I was talking about Jorge the 2 days ago. Arguing with my husband (Kevin Lowe) about the pronunciation of his name. Asked him in school one day and he told me. Never called him George again. It was always Jorge and it always made him smile that I remembered. Didn’t see him often enough, but knowing he’s laughing in Heaven makes me so happy. Bless all who knew him. So sorry he is gone so soon. A man everyone loved.
