Oh Gloria, you were a gem ! I’am so grateful to have known you. So many great memories with my wife and children visiting you when we could leave our busy lives. My wife stayed in touch every day until you left us. Calling with me and my children talking about what happened today. You made every person feel important and loved every one of us dearly. You will be sorely missed by your family and anyone who ever new you. God bless xxxxxoooo

I worked at The Moorings years ago and knew Mr. & Mrs. Hegeman. Mrs. Hegeman was so great. Always smiling, easy with her compliments and so much fun. The “Tacky” Party she created and hosted was the absolute best. I thought of her many times over the years. Peace to your family. I know she will be missed.

Dear sweet Mrs. Hegeman you will be missed for your wit and beautiful smile. I knew you and your adorable husband, Ray, from working at Hawk’s Nest Golf Club and your home parties once upon a time. Rest in eternal peace. With love and gratitude for being blessed to know you.

I met Gloria several years ago when she would come to 12th Street Starbucks. A lovely and most gracious lady . . .
