Harold Albert Wagner, Sr.

August 17, 1929 ~ March 29, 2024

Harold Albert Wagner, Sr. 94, of Port St. Lucie, Florida passed away peacefully on Good Friday, March 29, 2024, it was also his 67th wedding anniversary.

 

He was born in Schenectady, NY on August 17, 1929, to Jacob Albert and Florence May (King) Wagner.

 

He graduated from Michigan State University and studied agriculture, which gave him a lifelong hobby of gardening and landscaping. Harold was an honest and hardworking man.

 

He married Beverly A. Thoma, March 29, 1957, and moved to Maryland to work and raise a family and later retired to Port St. Lucie, Florida.

 

He is survived by his five children: Sherene (Michael) Collins, Tamara (Joe) Hastings, Robin (Steve Sr.) Payne, Alicia (Michael Sr.) Mohler and Harold Jr. (Tracy) Wagner.

 

Eleven grandchildren: Carinne (Matt) Smith, Chelsea Collins, Devyn (Cole) Lisko, Trevor Hastings, Brittany Hastings, Sierra (Ronnie) Rambo, Michael Jr. (Lexi) Mohler, Garrett Mohler, Hunter Wagner, Brayden Wagner and Bryce Wagner.

 

Thirteen great grandchildren: Cora and Collin Smith, Estella and Sabrina Lisko, Kaden Kramer, Malia Hastings McPherson, Avidan, Evie, Verity, Vaylor, and Maven Rambo, Sarriah and Mikaela Mohler.

 

He was predeceased by his wife Beverly; grandson Stevie Payne, Jr.; sister Joan Decker; and parents Jacob and Florence Wagner.

 

The family would like to thank the staff of Integrity-Dixie Oak Manor Assisted Living of Vero Beach, FL and VNA Hospice House of Vero Beach, FL, for their extraordinary acts of kindness and compassionate care.

 

A small intimate celebration of life will be held at one of his daughter’s homes, at a later date. The family has always enjoyed documenting one’s life with pictures. During this gathering the family and friends will enjoy reminiscing over the many wonderful memories.
