Henrietta P. Fass, 95, passed away peacefully on September 7, 2026, while residing at Sodalis Assisted Living in Vero Beach, Florida.

Henrietta was born on December 1, 1930, at Wyckoff Heights Hospital in Brooklyn, New York, to Joseph Schauer and Maria Henrietta Schauer. During her childhood and teenage years, she lived in New York City and also spent a short time living in Germany.

Henrietta graduated from Grover Cleveland High School in New York City in January 1949. On June 16, 1951, she married the love of her life, Daniel P. Fass, at Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal in Ridgewood, New York.

Henrietta and Daniel made their home on Long Island, New York, where they raised their family. They had two sons, Daniel and Kenneth, and later adopted a daughter, Margaret. Around 1954, they purchased a home in West Islip, New York, where they remained until their retirement in approximately 1988. During retirement, Henrietta and Daniel lived at Wallenpaupack Lake Estates in Northeast Pennsylvania. In 2009, they moved to Dallastown, Pennsylvania. Daniel preceded Henrietta in death in 2014. In 2018, Henrietta moved to Florida, where she spent her remaining years.

Throughout her life, Henrietta enjoyed many things, but above all, she treasured her family. She had a great love for her dogs and enjoyed family trips, camping, boating, cruises, and spending time at parks. She especially loved being near the water and swimming in lakes, bays, and the ocean. Henrietta also enjoyed playing cards and board games and staying active through golf, bowling, snowmobiling, roller skating, ice skating, and bird watching.

Henrietta will be remembered for the love she shared with her family and for the many wonderful memories created throughout her long and fulfilling life.

She is survived by her son, Kenneth, and his wife, Elaine; her sister, Anita; 10 grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and niece and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Daniel P. Fass; her son, Daniel; and her daughter, Margaret.
