Jacqueline (Jackie) Snedigar, passed away Sunday, March 17, 2024 at age 92. Jackie was loved by so many people. She loved life, loved to laugh, loved her family and friends. She was a kind and generous person. Jackie lit up the room!
She was born in Asbury Park NJ to Bill and Elsie Erwood and moved to Miami as a very young girl, living most of her life in Miami. She led the Rhythm Band at Citrus Grove elementary school! And worked many years as a legal secretary. After stays in Louisiana and Charlotte she was so happy to return to Florida with her daughter and son-in-law in 2022 Jackie loved to travel and see other parts of the world. But she was always glad to be back in the “good ole USA”. She enjoyed arts and crafts. She painted numerous fine oil paintings. And she enjoyed her time with the Sew and Sews group in Charlotte who made items to sell for the church. Jackie had many wise and clever sayings she passed on to whoever was interested!
Jackie is survived by her daughter Jill Sullivan (Dan), grandson Danny Schueppert (Katie) and great grandson. She is preceded in death by her husband Jim Snedigar and daughter Karen Sullivan Schueppert.
Jackie was an outgoing, friendly and amazing person. It was wonderful to be around her. And she was the very bestest mom! She will be missed by many.
Jackie chose to be cremated and have her ashes spread in the ocean. Any donations may be made to the Salvation Army in her name.

Aunt Jackie was a bright spot in any room! Her cheerful laugh and quick wit was a joy to be around. I fondly remember summer visits to Miami and cousins and aunts would be piled into Grandmother’s car for a trip over to Miami Beach. Jackie was a loving and creative soul, and will be missed.

So blessed to have known this beautiful lady. She was intentional with the love she gave and radiant in everything she did. Her spirit was so bright, I always felt so happy just to be in her presence. She touched my life in so many ways that I will cherish and lean into for the rest of my days. Every time I look up to the heavens. I will smile knowing you are there dancing with the angels. Thank you for gracing my life.

Jackie was one of the loves of my life! Wherever Jackie was, there was love and laughter. She definitely will be greatly missed. Our Sew and Sews group was very sad to hear of Jackie’s passing. But wherever our gal is, there is music playing! Gone but never forgotten. Love my Jackie, Candy Susco

I had been trying to contact Jackie, then called Marnie. Was so sorry to her of her passing. She was indeed a bright light and a joy to be around. I will never forget her laughter and the fun we had at dental functions. I’m so sorry we never were able to get together after her move to Vero which reminds me to never put things off to another day. My prayers are with you Jill. Love Doris Hall
