Jacqueline R. Berrien

October 08, 1940 ~ August 14, 2021

Jacqueline Revesz Berrien passed away peacefully at the age of 80 in Vero Beach, Florida, with her family by her side, after a 13-year battle with breast cancer. She was a warrior, defying the odds, through to the very end.
Jacqueline Revesz was born in Trenton, New Jersey, married in 1960, and resided in West Amwell Township, Hunterdon County, New Jersey for over 50 years with George Berrien, her husband of 61 years. She was a long-time member of the Mount Airy Presbyterian Church.
Early in her career, Jackie worked as a dental assistant. Later, she worked for West Amwell Township Elementary School in order to be in synch with children’s schedules. After receiving her Associates Degree in Business, she worked as a Test Security Specialist for Educational Testing Service in Princeton, New Jersey retiring in 1998.
Once retired, Jackie spent her time with George traveling between their homes in Maine, New Jersey, and Florida. Moving to Florida permanently in 2019, they enjoyed playing cards, competing in the shuffleboard league, leisurely spending afternoons at the pool, and attending many social events at the clubhouse. Jackie loved a good glass of wine and she was a voracious reader. She especially loved lunch and movie dates with friends.
She is survived by her husband, George Berrien, her daughter, Beth Berrien-Clark (Wayne Clark), her son, Daniel Berrien (Laurie Katz) as well as four grandchildren, Connor Clark, Colby Clark, Allison Berrien, and Spencer Berrien. A private family service will be held.
Jackie and her family are especially grateful for all the senior services Indian River County has provided this past year. Fire and Rescue were especially wonderful responding to Jackie’s calls for assistance and needs for transportation with such kindness and professionalism. Thank you to this thoughtful and caring organization.
By her own admission, Jackie had a great life. In lieu of flowers, please do a kindness for someone next time you think of Jackie. She asked that you all enjoy a peach sangria in her memory!

  • The service from Millennium was outstanding. Rachel was sweet, personable and very comforting. It was important to me that my dad was kept locally where I knew where he would be. Very nice facility, state of the art and quality of my fathers remains were so refined compared to my mothers years ago. I highly recommend this place for an affordable choice for your loved one. Thank you for making an already stressful event easy. With high regards, the Esposito and Keith Family.

  • Millennium Cremation provided a fantastic service to our family at a difficult time. Our beloved mother passed away in Vero Beach and the rest of the family was in other parts of the country. Due to the Covid health crisis, none of us could get to Vero Beach in person. That's where Millennium took over. They helped us manage everything, coordinated with a cemetery in Maine, managed the obituaries, expedited all the paperwork, and even delivered an important document locally that saved us days. Funeral director Rachel was a godsend, and she made it clear what she was going to do, and what we needed to do. If you know what you want, Millennium is highly recommended, and the savings versus the full service mortuaries is significant.
