Jean Marie Hooker, 67, of Vero Beach, Florida passed away on April 19th, 2023.
Jean was born on March 13th, 1956 in Miami, Florida to the late Paul and Gloria Guerreschi.
She is predeceased by both of her parents.
Jean is survived by her sons, William Hooker, Andrew (Randee) Hooker and granddaughter Mikalen Hooker.
Jean was a dedicated mother first and foremost. She treasured her children and embraced every moment with them. She especially loved her role as Yaya. She had a vivacious personality and always made people around her laugh. She made friends everywhere she went and her customers at Publix loved her as well.
Since her retirement from Publix in 2022, Jean found enjoyment by volunteering with Special Olympics of Indian River County, where her son William participated for many years.
A celebration of life and an ash spreading ceremony will be held for immediate family and close friends.

We made friends through Publix. Always had a smile for everyone, a kind and encouraging words! I am so sorry to read of our passing, but God needed this angel of energy! May you R.I.P. Prayers for family and hugs! You will be missed!

I’m so sorry of your loss my boys both played music in Phil Nixon band and Gloria considered me an extra daughter and I was so happy to have Jean as extra sister. So sorry I’m loosing so many of my extended family members. I will keep you all in my nightly prayers . Mary Ellen Brady Ten Eyck.
