Jean Marie O’Connor, 96, passed away peacefully in her sleep surrounded by her family on May 20, 2023 on Vero Beach, FL.

She was born on January 1, 1927 in Hartford, CT. the only child of George T. Flynn and Alice Eltz Flynn she spent her childhood in Bridgeport ,CT and she graduated from Lauralton Hall Milford CT in 1944.

She married Charles M.O’Connor in 1949 they raised there 6 children in Milford CT. In 1979 they moved to Cape Cod Ma. and retired to Vero Beach, FL in 1993.

She is survived by her children Mary Ellen O’Connor of Vero Beach, FL; Kevin O’Connor (Susan) of San Tan Valley,AZ;

Carol Brennan (Michael) of Milford ,CT; and Diane O’Connor Kimball (Lee) of Sebastian ,FL.

Jean’s greatest love was her 6 children 10 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

She is predeceased by her husband Charles M.O’Connor, and her sons Thomas Charles O’Connor (Betty) and Craig Michael O’Connor ( Noreen).

A celebration of life will be held in Milford CT in October 2023 for both Charlie and Jean.

Due to the Covid health crisis, none of us could get to Vero Beach in person. That's where Millennium took over. They helped us manage everything, coordinated with a cemetery in Maine, managed the obituaries, expedited all the paperwork, and even delivered an important document locally that saved us days. Funeral director Rachel was a godsend, and she made it clear what she was going to do, and what we needed to do.
