Jeffrey L. Reid

February 23, 1955 ~ February 23, 2023

Jeff was born on 2/23/55 and died peacefully and unexpectedly in his sleep at home on his birthday 2/23/23. He leaves his wife Kathleen Finn, son Michael and his wife Sherry, and grandsons Hunter and Brayden. Though he was well educated and very successful in business, his family, friends and dog Lola were his most important treasures. He was generous, thoughtful, kind, selfless, modest, stubborn and straightforward. He was a no frills kind of guy, had a huge heart and an offbeat sense of humor. He’d give you the shirt off his back but ask you to keep it secret. To know him was to love him and interactions with him always left an impact. He was generous with his knowledge, his advice and his opinions. He will be greatly missed by many and will be forever in our hearts. To honor his wishes, there are no formal services. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory can be sent to the Christian Brothers Center, Ocean Tides, 635 Ocean Road, Narragansett, RI 02882. 401.789.0244

Jeff’s kindness was only outmatched by his generosity and spirit. I’m so glad that you got to see the 49’ers have such a great season. I will always remember how much fun we had going to Pats games or even just when I was serving you up drinks and we would shoot the shit. You and Kathy are amazing people and I’m so glad you had each other!! You will always be my asshole!!

Although I did not have the pleasure of knowing Jeff, I’ve only heard wonderful things about him. I do know he made my cousin very happy. I will be keeping Kathy, and everyone close to Jeff, in my prayers as they heal from this devastating loss. Sending love, hugs and sympathy to Kathy and the whole family. ❤️

What a beautiful tribute for a beautiful man. Martin was quite moved when I told him. He said “He just texted me and said he was praying for me and that he loved me and I told him that I loved him.” Now I am praying for him in Heaven. We will both miss this beautiful man.

It’s always hard to say goodbye to someone who meant so much to us. Jeff was a remarkable person. He embodied kindness, generosity, humor, and intelligence. I’ve been drinking Jameson because of him. As a Pats fan I watched 49ers game only because of him. Love you Jeff ❤️❤️❤️

Condolences to the Reid family from the MacLean family. We grew up in Taunton with Jeff and his brothers. Very sad that he has passed so young.

  • The service from Millennium was outstanding. Rachel was sweet, personable and very comforting. It was important to me that my dad was kept locally where I knew where he would be. Very nice facility, state of the art and quality of my fathers remains were so refined compared to my mothers years ago. I highly recommend this place for an affordable choice for your loved one. Thank you for making an already stressful event easy. With high regards, the Esposito and Keith Family.

  • Millennium Cremation provided a fantastic service to our family at a difficult time. Our beloved mother passed away in Vero Beach and the rest of the family was in other parts of the country. Due to the Covid health crisis, none of us could get to Vero Beach in person. That's where Millennium took over. They helped us manage everything, coordinated with a cemetery in Maine, managed the obituaries, expedited all the paperwork, and even delivered an important document locally that saved us days. Funeral director Rachel was a godsend, and she made it clear what she was going to do, and what we needed to do. If you know what you want, Millennium is highly recommended, and the savings versus the full service mortuaries is significant.
