Joan Marie DuBosch

November 17, 1927 ~ December 09, 2022

Joan Marie DuBosch age 95
Born November 17, 1927 in New York City left us on December 9, 2022 of natural causes.
Joan leaves behind two daughters and two grandchildren and many dear friends.
Joan was an accomplished businesswoman and owner of several retail/antique boutique shops along with her daughter in New Jersey.
Joan came to Vero Beach, Florida with with her husband George in 1984 and discovered this is where they would hang their hats part time until Joan became a full time resident in the mid 2000’s.
Joan loved buying, flipping and decorating properties in both New Jersey and Vero Beach. That was her real passion and people who knew her always wondered what next! She lived a fulfilling life and as she would say “ I did it my way”.
Joan left us with a funny little comment she would make when driving over the Barber Bridge. She would say, ”Look at those  clouds they are so fluffy imagine sitting on one”. She has her wish, Joan has claimed her cloud.

My sincere love and sympathy to her daughters and their families . My mother and Joan were friends for decades. We met when they lived across the street. She is probably decorating a cloud in heaven. Rest in peace.

Ahhh… my dear cousin Joan!! Cioci Francie would say “ she’s a pip” .., loved all our family and have many fond memories of Joan. She taught me how to dress with class! She picked out clothes for me when we went shopping.
My first trip alone by bus from PA to NJ to stay with Joan & George. Loved being with them both Denise was a baby then.
Loved being with her on my last trip to FL and she loved watching me swim in her pool! And of course we went shopping. Oh the memories! I’ll keep her in my heart forever ❤️❤️

  • The service from Millennium was outstanding. Rachel was sweet, personable and very comforting. It was important to me that my dad was kept locally where I knew where he would be. Very nice facility, state of the art and quality of my fathers remains were so refined compared to my mothers years ago. I highly recommend this place for an affordable choice for your loved one. Thank you for making an already stressful event easy. With high regards, the Esposito and Keith Family.

  • Millennium Cremation provided a fantastic service to our family at a difficult time. Our beloved mother passed away in Vero Beach and the rest of the family was in other parts of the country. Due to the Covid health crisis, none of us could get to Vero Beach in person. That's where Millennium took over. They helped us manage everything, coordinated with a cemetery in Maine, managed the obituaries, expedited all the paperwork, and even delivered an important document locally that saved us days. Funeral director Rachel was a godsend, and she made it clear what she was going to do, and what we needed to do. If you know what you want, Millennium is highly recommended, and the savings versus the full service mortuaries is significant.
