Dear Stearn Family,
It took an international tragedy for Geoff and myself to meet Bob and Jo. We were so lucky to pick such lovely stranded Americans, camped out in Gatwick Airport under the most distressing of events of this century. It was 9/11. They spent five nights with us, were always courteous and considerate, and charming company. We were so glad that something so positive came out of such a terrible event. We were also very fortunate to be invited to Vero Beach, and the house by the lake in Carolina.
Jo was a wonderful hostess, welcoming and hospitable, taking us places and feeding us delicious food. We met various members of the family, and it was clear that they were the most important people to her, and she in turn, was at the centre of the family. Gentle, unassuming, intelligent, kindly, well informed and interested to so many things. We remember the night we were taken to the Blue Grass Club, and Jo got up and donned her clogs and danced. We know that she was an accomplished tennis player. We played bridge together, us with our eccentric biding. Jo smiled patiently at us, and what a wonderful smile she had. It is with so much regret that we learn of her passing, and our deepest sympathy is with you all at this painful time.

    • The service from Millennium was outstanding. Rachel was sweet, personable and very comforting. It was important to me that my dad was kept locally where I knew where he would be. Very nice facility, state of the art and quality of my fathers remains were so refined compared to my mothers years ago. I highly recommend this place for an affordable choice for your loved one. Thank you for making an already stressful event easy. With high regards, the Esposito and Keith Family.

    • Millennium Cremation provided a fantastic service to our family at a difficult time. Our beloved mother passed away in Vero Beach and the rest of the family was in other parts of the country. Due to the Covid health crisis, none of us could get to Vero Beach in person. That's where Millennium took over. They helped us manage everything, coordinated with a cemetery in Maine, managed the obituaries, expedited all the paperwork, and even delivered an important document locally that saved us days. Funeral director Rachel was a godsend, and she made it clear what she was going to do, and what we needed to do. If you know what you want, Millennium is highly recommended, and the savings versus the full service mortuaries is significant.
