Ride on Forever my love.
John Compton
1/28/1951- 6/10/2024
With my deepest sadness Heaven has gained a new Angel. My beloved husband passed away Monday at home from a battle with Cancer.
John was born January 28, 1951, in Berwind, West Virginia, and is the son of the late Carl C. Compton and his mother Mabel Marie Compton.
John attended school in Bluefield WV, as well as Virginia Tech, where he played football, and Georgetown University for a degree in Engineering. Once home again John became the founder and President of both Space Coast Precision and American Motor Works where he featured his own brand of Motorcycle. Once retired, he decided to go back to work in the Security Field as a General Manager for US Security in Ft. Lauderdale.
John is survived by his wife Donna M. Compton of Palm Bay, Florida, His daughter Tracy Carbonell and her husband Chris of Jacksonville, Florida, His sons Adam J. Tanguay of Palm Bay, Florida and Alan M. Tanguay of Daytona, Florida, his 2 sisters Marsha Fuzia and her husband William of Bluefield, West Virginia and Sherri Compton and her husband Elmer Keen of Buchanan, Virginia. He is predeceased by his son John T. Compton, Jr (JAY). He has 2 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A CELEBRATION OF LIFE WILL BE HELD IN THE VERY NEAR FUTURE AT THE BEACH AS HE ALWAYS LOVED TO SURF AND THE BEACH WAS ALWAYS HIS HAPPY PLACE.
