John (Janos) Knoll peacefully passed away on May 7, 2024 at the age of 90 in Vero Beach, Florida.
John was born in Hungary, he was one of seven children and had been raised mostly by his siblings in different villages of Hungary such as Komlod and Gyor. As a young man, John had been accepted into the Hungarian Air Force and was a cadet. However, during the Hungarian Revolution in 1956, John escaped the communist regime and came to America. John had spent his retirement years in Florida but had previously resided in Pennsylvania.
John enjoyed a long and successful career at Air Products in Pennsylvania as a machinist and draftsman and took college classes in drafting. His hobbies included aviation, motorcycles, music, cooking, and fishing. John was proud of his Hungarian heritage and often returned to Hungary where he had many friends and family.
John was divorced but is survived by three daughters, a son and stepdaughter, 7 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. John was proud of his children; he loved warm sunshine, the beauty of the Florida ocean and the majestic green Pennsylvania mountains.
