John Patrick Anyon, Jr.

January 31, 1938 ~ August 22, 2024

John Patrick Anyon Jr., a cherished individual known for his kind, loving, caring and humorous personality, left us on August 22, 2024, at age 86, living a life filled with happiness and service towards others. He was born on January 31, 1938, in Fall River, Massachusetts to John Patrick Anyon Sr. and Olivia DaCosta Anyon. He had been a resident of Palm Bay, previously residing in Tampa, Florida. He was married to Sharon Anyon for 35 years.

John retired from Painters Union 1010 and spent many more years upgrading homes for friends, family, and neighbors. He was a lifetime New York Giants fan and a member of the Fig Leaf Naturalist Group. He enjoyed fishing and actively participating in every Jeopardy show as the 4th contestant. He had superior knowledge of trivia and other facts and was also an avid reader. He loved the outdoors, travelling with Sharon and friends in their RV and most importantly his family.

John was predeceased by his beautiful Daughter, Lori Ann Anyon, whom he missed dearly, spoke of often and looked forward to seeing her again. If he could have a flower for every time he thought of her, he could have walked in his own garden forever. His Father, John Patrick Anyon; Mother, Olivia Pereira; Brother, John Pereira; Sisters: Florence Beaver, Maria Elena Barry, Sally Frain, and Lydia Winsor.

He is survived by his spouse, Sharon Anyon.
Children: John Anyon III; Mark Anyon (Jackie); Cheryl Watson (John); Deborah Edwards; Priscilla Young (Bonus Daughter).

  • The service from Millennium was outstanding. Rachel was sweet, personable and very comforting. It was important to me that my dad was kept locally where I knew where he would be. Very nice facility, state of the art and quality of my fathers remains were so refined compared to my mothers years ago. I highly recommend this place for an affordable choice for your loved one. Thank you for making an already stressful event easy. With high regards, the Esposito and Keith Family.

  • Millennium Cremation provided a fantastic service to our family at a difficult time. Our beloved mother passed away in Vero Beach and the rest of the family was in other parts of the country. Due to the Covid health crisis, none of us could get to Vero Beach in person. That's where Millennium took over. They helped us manage everything, coordinated with a cemetery in Maine, managed the obituaries, expedited all the paperwork, and even delivered an important document locally that saved us days. Funeral director Rachel was a godsend, and she made it clear what she was going to do, and what we needed to do. If you know what you want, Millennium is highly recommended, and the savings versus the full service mortuaries is significant.
