Dear Dad,
I am not sure where you are in this photo, but I am happy to have it. Today, I want to let you know only a few things that I haven’t already had the pleasure of telling you. Thank you for sticking around to celebrate your 60th wedding anniversary with the Susie who you adored and who showed you more love and sacrificial adoration than any human being could ever ask for. Thank you for coming to Easter at my house on April 9th to devouring lamb chops with my friends. Thank you for rising to the occasion to spend time with both of your girls and giving Sally a proper send off to success at her 10th Boston Marathon. Thank you for having the tenacity to be there to share your wisdom and strength with me and Whitney and Gordon while we endured unimaginable challenges.
Today I also noticed that you decided to be off on your next adventure only one day after your US Passport expired. A great planner you are, and I know that you know that we are all going to be just fine remembering all the things you have said and done.
And to the dear Lord of my childhood to whom you taught me to pray, I pray that increasing in knowledge and love of our Lord, that you, Daddy, may go from strength to strength in the life of perfect service in the heavenly kingdom.
Our caring professionals are here to assist you and your family during this difficult time. We are available 24 hours, 7 days a week to assist in immediate arrangements or pre-arrangements.
