Joseph A. Codner, 55, of Vero Beach, Florida, passed away January 2, 2020 after a short but courageous battle with cancer at his home with his family by his side. He was born in Bridgeport, CT and had been a resident of Florida after traveling the country for his job.
Joseph grew up in Brecksville, OH and graduated in 1982. He moved to Florida and was a former golf professional of Palmetto Pines Country Club in Cape Coral, FL.
Joseph was of the Catholic Faith. He enjoyed riding his Harley, collecting memorabilia and spending time with his family.
He leaves his memories to be cherished by his mother, Rosemarie Codner (Augustino Altadonna) of Vero Beach; sister, Jeanne (Robert) Lippert of Huron, OH; niece and Goddaughter, Samantha Lippert and niece, Sophia Lippert, also of Huron; aunt, Sister Anna Mae Frenzik, SSND of Sebastian, FL and several cousins. He was predeceased by his father, Armando Codner in June 2002.

l just learned of Joes passing today, l spoke with Joe last Sept. and did not know he was ill. l had a lot of great times with Joe when we worked at Dollar Tree. What a geat sense of humor he had. Ge is greatly missed.

Oh my gosh. Aunt Rose and Jeannie I had no idea. I was just reminiscing about Joe today and Google his name to see what he is up to these days and I saw this. I am so sorry for your loss. Even though we hadn’t spoke to each other for years, he was always on my mind. I always think of those summers when we would camp in the back yard in Brecksville and play UNO until the wee hours in the morning. Such fond memories of my time with all of you growing up. He will be missed.
