With profound sadness and enduring love, we announce the passing of Joseph Michael LaRosa III, who passed away peacefully on July 20, 2026.

Born in Norwalk, Connecticut, Joseph was the beloved son of Joseph Michael LaRosa Jr. and Antoinette G. LaRosa. Throughout his life, he was known for his kind heart, gentle spirit, and unwavering devotion to those he loved.

To know Joe was to know someone who lived with empathy and authenticity. He was spontaneous, caring, protective, and always willing to lend a helping hand. He believed deeply that every person deserved respect, understanding, and compassion. Those simple but powerful words became the foundation by which he lived his life.

Above all else, Joseph’s greatest joy was being a father. The love he had for his son was steadfast and unconditional. His guidance, encouragement, and quiet strength shaped a lifetime of cherished memories. Though his voice has fallen silent, the lessons he taught, the laughter he shared, and the love he gave so freely will remain forever.

Joseph leaves behind a legacy not measured by wealth or accomplishments, but by countless acts of kindness, the love he shared without hesitation, and the values he instilled in those fortunate enough to know him. His gentle heart, generous spirit, and enduring love for his family and friends will never be forgotten.

Joseph is survived by his beloved son, Justin A. LaRosa of Wilton, Connecticut; his loving mother, Antoinette G. LaRosa of Bardstown, Kentucky; his sister, Nancy Geisweit (Husband, William) of Jordan, Arkansas; his sister, Susan Garrett (Husband, Terry) of Bardstown, Kentucky; his brother, Robert LaRosa (Wife, Kia) of Athens, Georgia; and many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends whose lives were enriched by knowing him.

He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Michael LaRosa Jr., in April, 2007, and his brother, Thomas A. LaRosa, in October, 2023.

He will be deeply missed, forever loved, and always remembered.
