In Loving Memory of Judson Purvis Barker Jr.

With profound sadness, we announce the passing of our beloved Judson P. Barker Jr,
who departed from our lives on December 24th, 2023 at the age of 82.
Born on April 8th, 1941 to Nannie & Judson P. Barker Sr, Judd was a beacon of love,
wisdom, and strength in our lives. He was more than just a father; he was a mentor, a
guide, and a dear friend to many.

Throughout his life, Judd touched countless hearts with his kindness, humility, and
unwavering devotion to his family. He was a man of integrity, whose values served as a
compass for all who knew him. His laughter was infectious, his wisdom profound, and
his love boundless.

Judd was the proud owner of Indian River Electric for the past 40+ years. He dedicated
himself wholeheartedly to his work, leaving a lasting mark on the hearts and minds of
his colleagues and peers.

Judd is survived by his 4 children, Jack Barker, Julia Walker, Judson Barker III, & Jason
Barker. He was a proud grandfather to many grandchildren & one great grandson.

As we mourn the loss of Judd, let us also celebrate the life of a truly remarkable man
who enriched our lives in countless ways. May his soul rest in eternal peace.

A gathering of family and friends will be held at Schacht Groves Lakeside Pole Barn,6100 12th St. on February 4th,2024 from 12:00 -2:00pm.
Friends and family are invited to join us in celebrating his life and bidding him a heartfelt farewell.

Funeral director Rachel was a godsend, and she made it clear what she was going to do, and what we needed to do.
