June Harriette Born Sams English, 80, of Palm Bay, Florida went to be with her Lord on September 3, 2024.

 

She was born on March 9,1944 in Atlanta, Georgia at Georgia Baptist hospital to Claude Stinson Born and Agnes J. Viola Harris Born. She had been a resident of Florida for 5 years, having moved there from Fort Worth, Texas.

 

June traveled the world as a young military wife/mother. Her love of travel sparked her desire for sports cars and motorcycles. A woman of strong will and independence, an entrepreneur, she opened her own cleaning service and eventually retired in the customer service industry. She loved dancing, her music favorites were Bob Seger and ZZ Top. She loved the ocean, a true Pisces.

 

A caring, loving mother who was always there for her family, ‘I love you more’, she would always say. Known as Mimi to her grand and great grandchildren, she had an affinity for the babies.

 

She was predeceased by her mother, Agnes Born, her father Claude Born; her brother Claude ‘Bubba’ Born; sisters Mary-Ann Riddle, Shirley English, Odell Cole; and her youngest son Matthew Stinson Sams.

 

She is survived by three children, Anna M. Valden, Oran J. Sams, his wife Stacie Sams, Kimberly R. Heath; 10 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and their children. June was a beloved member of the family.
