My condolences. Karen made me feel so welcome as a newbie at Vero Beach Choral Society. She was always SO organized with our music (which was a lot of music – and she never complained to us!). My fave about her though – her playful funky sense of style! I just loved her sweaters and earrings the most! What a great, fun person! She is already missed.

Please accept my deepest sympathies. Karen and I sang together, sitting side by side for rehearsals and concerts for several years. I enjoyed our time together very much and I will miss her smiling face. It was always a treat to see her wearing one of her many beautiful and complex knitted creations.

May our Lord, Jesus, grant all of you comfort during these difficult days ahead and may your memories of Karen bring you peace. Her faith in Him ensures us all that we will meet again.

Karen was my friend the instant I met her when she first came to VBCS. We sang together as first sopranos until she opted for a lower range. We enjoyed many lunches together at favorite Vero Beach restaurants and had more than a few laughs ( I will always remember her wonderful whole-hearted laugh) . Karen was interesting always and ever so generous with her time and attention. Her talents with knitting and her beautiful pieces of needlepoint were her pride and joy. I know that she is in the arms of Jesus and there is comfort there for those who loved her as I did. My deepest condolences to Denny and the family. She will always be a precious part of my life.

What a accommodating person was Karen – always willing to do that little favor you asked of her. I was glad she was going to join us altos in the Vero Beach Choral Society after singing with the sopranos … and so disappointed when she was unable to continue with that plan. All this in a very personable lady who frequently dressed in some of her extraordinary hand-knit creations. Yes, I will certainly miss her greatly.

Karen graciously took over as our music librarian when I was all tried out after 10 years. She expertly added her style of putting the library in tip top shape. She always was organized and we never waited for her to get it done. She also would answer whatever question I asked in an email. I will miss her sweet personality and caring for others. I know she is singing with the angelic choir. God is love.

We are heartbroken with this news. Karen was such a force and lit up a room when entering. The one word that comes to mind when we think of Karen is kind. Prayers for the family. She will be missed by so many.

Karen was one of those “forever friends” that you meet once in a lifetime. I will miss her terribly with our weekly chats about all things worldly. My boys have already stated that Karen was the one that gave me inspiration to downsize and not leave “all this stuff” for my kids to deal with. Karen had a way of touching so many lives in so many ways. May you and the family be comforted with her loving personality as you navigate the complexities of the days and months ahead.

I sang alto with Karen in the back row of Vero Beach Choral Society. She would arrive with a smile on her face and always wore some wonderful, brightly colored sweater or jewelry. She seemed always to be enjoying her life and having fun. And contributing for the good of the group, whether it was being the most efficient, cheerful music librarian or well-prepared, enthusiastic chorister. Everyone at VBCS will miss her energy and kind smile.

  • The service from Millennium was outstanding. Rachel was sweet, personable and very comforting. It was important to me that my dad was kept locally where I knew where he would be. Very nice facility, state of the art and quality of my fathers remains were so refined compared to my mothers years ago. I highly recommend this place for an affordable choice for your loved one. Thank you for making an already stressful event easy. With high regards, the Esposito and Keith Family.

  • Millennium Cremation provided a fantastic service to our family at a difficult time. Our beloved mother passed away in Vero Beach and the rest of the family was in other parts of the country. Due to the Covid health crisis, none of us could get to Vero Beach in person. That's where Millennium took over. They helped us manage everything, coordinated with a cemetery in Maine, managed the obituaries, expedited all the paperwork, and even delivered an important document locally that saved us days. Funeral director Rachel was a godsend, and she made it clear what she was going to do, and what we needed to do. If you know what you want, Millennium is highly recommended, and the savings versus the full service mortuaries is significant.
