Kim Liana Van Etten, born on October 17, 1953, passed away peacefully on September 1, 2024, surrounded by her loving family.
She was preceded in death by her beloved son Daniel (Danny), and is survived by her devoted husband, Michael (Mickey); her cherished daughter, Veronica (Adam) Reno; and her adored grandsons, Peyton and Shane.
Kim was “Beautiful Aunt Kim” to many. A force to be reckoned with, a woman whose vibrant spirit left an indelible mark on everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her. Beloved by all for her warmth and generosity. Her infectious love for Halloween was legendary. Every year she delighted in dressing up as a witch to pass out candy. Bringing joy to countless children in the community.
“Kimba” was everyone’s favorite waitress, known for her quick wit and kind heart at County Line Pizza and Harry and the Natives. Her presence brought comfort and cheer to those she served. She leaves behind a legacy of kindness and joy that will be remembered by many.
While Kim will be deeply missed, her family finds comfort in knowing that she has been reunited with her dear son Danny, who has welcomed her to the gates of heaven with open arms.

Knowing her since the 5th grade was quite a fun roller coaster ride. Living in Sebastian when they moved up there was a joy to me while I still live there. Every time I drove past the area I called Kimmy to see if I could stop in and say hi. Quite often as of late she would tell me either she or Mickey didn’t feel well and catch her the next time. This happened just a few weeks ago and I’m so sorry I didn’t get to visit her just one more time. I love you Kimmy and I will miss you so very much.
