Kimberly Lynn Scarbro

November 13, 1966 ~ May 30, 2026

Kimberly Lynn Scarbro (Alger), 59, passed away peacefully on May 30th, 2026 surrounded by her closest loved ones after a difficult and courageous battle with cancer.

Kim was born on November 13th, 1966 in Front Royal, Virginia to her late parents Lloyd Leroy Alger and Gladys Louise Simpson (Edwards). At a young age, she moved to Delaware, where she had spent most of her life until finally settling down in Vero Beach, Florida in 2023, a dream she had made sure to accomplish in her final years.

Kim was an intelligent woman who took great pride in receiving her Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, a subject which she had much passion for.

She had a lot of love for the beach, The Wizard of Oz (which she accumulated an impressive collection for), religiously enjoyed the TV show “Charmed”, and she had a very unapologetic interest in the paranormal and magic. Her interests brought her a lot of joy in life and she loved to share those interests with others.

She is survived by her adoring life partner Christopher Lennon; daughters Amanda Louise Alger (Mark Castellano) and Christina Marie Pragg (Jason Pragg); bonus daughter Samantha Lennon and granddaughter Rosalie Johns; step-mother Cynthia Alger; very best friend Amy Kern; her beloved Maltipoos, Nala and Baby Girl; and all of her remaining family and friends.

We, her family, take great solace in knowing she is no longer in pain and resting with the people she lost that she adored with all of her heart. There are no words to properly express how much we loved her and are going to miss her.

Nooo this is BEYOND heartbreaking…. I worked with momma at Frightland until she sadly left. I understood why tho. She had a huge heart and was always smiling. I miss her dearly even more so now that I seen this…. prayers and love

We are so very sad to hear of Kim’s passing. She was such a sweetheart and we were so happy when her and our brother Chris found each other. She was so good for him and I know he loved her dearly. Our prayers go out to all of the family for strength and comfort at this difficult time. Kim will be dearly missed, but I do believe we have another angel in heaven. ❤️❤️

I honestly don’t even know the “right” words for something like this, so I’m just gonna speak from the heart.

I didn’t know Kim well, but I know she was in your lives for a long time- fourteen years is not just a relationship, that’s a whole life chapter. That’s holidays, random days, routines, arguments, laughs, quiet moments,- all the stuff that ends up meaning way more than you realize until it’s gone.

What really sits with me is just knowing she chose y’all. Not in a forced way, not in a temporary way but in a real “this is my family” way. & that kind of love hits different.

To Uncle Chris, Samantha & the rest of Kim’s family- this kind of loss is just heavy. There’s no pretty way around it. Some days are gonna feel unreal, like you’re still supposed to be able to reach out or hear her voice or see her somewhere doing the usual things.

I just hope you all hold onto the fact that she loved you in her own way & that doesn’t disappear. That stays. In your memories, in your habits, in the way she helped shape who you are even without trying.

I’m really sorry you’re all going through this. Just sending love & strength your way, even on the days it doesn’t feel like enough.

  • The service from Millennium was outstanding. Rachel was sweet, personable and very comforting. It was important to me that my dad was kept locally where I knew where he would be. Very nice facility, state of the art and quality of my fathers remains were so refined compared to my mothers years ago. I highly recommend this place for an affordable choice for your loved one. Thank you for making an already stressful event easy. With high regards, the Esposito and Keith Family.

  • Millennium Cremation provided a fantastic service to our family at a difficult time. Our beloved mother passed away in Vero Beach and the rest of the family was in other parts of the country. Due to the Covid health crisis, none of us could get to Vero Beach in person. That's where Millennium took over. They helped us manage everything, coordinated with a cemetery in Maine, managed the obituaries, expedited all the paperwork, and even delivered an important document locally that saved us days. Funeral director Rachel was a godsend, and she made it clear what she was going to do, and what we needed to do. If you know what you want, Millennium is highly recommended, and the savings versus the full service mortuaries is significant.
