Lenore Virginia Wolaver passed away peacefully on October 23, 2026 surrounded by love and support from family. She was born in Cornwall-on-Hudson, New York on June 17, 1935 to Frank and Josephine (nee Steidel) Zarsk.

Lenore had been an active resident in Vero Beach for 26 years, after moving from Miami where she worked as an Administrative Assistant and various roles within a local school. She was a dedicated volunteer in her community. Lenore spent most of her afternoons greeting patrons of Christi’s Fitness with a warm smile, as well as at Indian River Memorial hospital, where she helped care for newborn babies and their mothers. She wed John Wolaver on July 30, 1960 in Tampa Florida. Lenore was a faithful Christian, loyal military wife, loving mother, selfless grandmother and great-grandmother during her life.

She is survived by her husband John; her children Christi Wade, Karla Wolaver, and Mark Wolaver; her five grandchildren and her two great-grandchildren; and her brother Frank. She was predeceased by her parents and two siblings.

In lieu of floral arrangements, donations may be made to the Arnold Palmer Children’s Hospital in Orlando Florida.
