Marilyn Joyce Farris, age 73, of Sebastian, Florida passed away at home surrounded by family on May 4, 2024. She was a beloved wife, mother and grandmother, sister and aunt.
Marilyn loved the spending time at the beach and discovering and collecting treasures from the ocean. She enjoyed spending her retirement in the Florida sunshine with her family. In keeping with Marilyn’s love of the beach, her ashes will be spread at sea at a later date.
Marilyn was married for 46 years to her husband, John Farris, and raised two daughters, Tracy Guinaugh and Christy Farris. She was the Grammy who loved to spoil her grandsons Michael Guinaugh and Matthew Guinaugh and was thrilled to welcome Matt’s new wife Madison to the family.
Others left to cherish her memory include her sisters, Frances Geiger and Antoinette Davis, along with numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her sister JoAnn Williams and both of her parents.
Marilyn’s love of gardening made the world brighter and in lieu of a service, the family invites friends wishing to honor Marilyn to add a flowering plant to their garden this summer in remembrance of her beautiful spirit.
Our caring professionals are here to assist you and your family during this difficult time. We are available 24 hours, 7 days a week to assist in immediate arrangements or pre-arrangements.
