Mary Payne Lamb

Born on April 29, 1971, in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. She pursued a career in security, dedicating herself to protecting others with diligence and care.

Mary was a woman of deep faith and conviction. A devoted Christian. Her compassion extended beyond words—she often shared meals with those experiencing homelessness and found joy in offering warmth and kindness wherever she could.

Creative at heart, Mary had a passion for photography and loved designing art pieces for family and friends. Her creations were more than just images or decorations—they were heartfelt expressions that brought joy to those around her. She also enjoyed working on her home, pouring love into every detail to make it a true sanctuary.

Mary’s adventurous spirit led her to explore new places whenever possible. She delighted in planning trips and discovering unfamiliar destinations and cuisines.

She found renewed happiness in recent years after reuniting with Eric Lamb(Husband), a marriage that brought light and joy into her life. At home, she was surrounded by the unconditional love of her three beloved dogs: Ollie, Pearl, and Luna.

Mary is lovingly remembered by her parents, James and Catherine Payne; her sister Bobbie Payne; and all those whose lives were touched by her generosity and vibrant spirit. She was predeceased by her sister Alison Payne.

Larger than life in every way, Mary lived with passion and purpose. Her memory will continue to warm hearts through the countless moments she shared so freely. May her legacy of love, creativity, and compassion bring comfort to all who knew her.

  • The service from Millennium was outstanding. Rachel was sweet, personable and very comforting. It was important to me that my dad was kept locally where I knew where he would be. Very nice facility, state of the art and quality of my fathers remains were so refined compared to my mothers years ago. I highly recommend this place for an affordable choice for your loved one. Thank you for making an already stressful event easy. With high regards, the Esposito and Keith Family.

  • Millennium Cremation provided a fantastic service to our family at a difficult time. Our beloved mother passed away in Vero Beach and the rest of the family was in other parts of the country. Due to the Covid health crisis, none of us could get to Vero Beach in person. That's where Millennium took over. They helped us manage everything, coordinated with a cemetery in Maine, managed the obituaries, expedited all the paperwork, and even delivered an important document locally that saved us days. Funeral director Rachel was a godsend, and she made it clear what she was going to do, and what we needed to do. If you know what you want, Millennium is highly recommended, and the savings versus the full service mortuaries is significant.
