Melissa Anne Eichorn of Gainesville, Florida went to be with her Lord on Thursday, September 16, 2021, at the age of 36. Melissa was born June 15, 1985 in West Palm Beach, Florida.
She graduated Fort White High School in 2003 and attended Santa Fe College.
Her precious memories will live on in the hearts of her son, Caedrin Cortez Eichorn and daughter, Maleia Jade Eichorn of Fort White, FL; father, William Edward Eichorn of Sebastian, FL; mother and stepfather, Christine Torba Blancett and William Henry Blancett of Fort White, FL; sister, Caitlin Michelle Eichorn and nephew, Kai Alexander Bing of Fort White, FL.; uncle, Lawrence Eric Eichorn of New York, NY; aunt, Lisa Anne Roberts of Lockport, NY.
She was preceded in death by her grandfather and grandmother, Edward Joesph Torba Jr. and Della “Sandy” K. Torba of Tonawanda, NY; uncle, Peter Joesph Torba of Tonawanda, NY; grandfather, William Tross Eichorn and grandmother, Mary Anne Hickey of Buffalo, NY.
At the request of the family, services will be private.

My heart is broken for all of you. I’m sure Melissa will be watching over all of you, especially her children, keeping them safe and protected but I know that doesn’t ease the pain right now. I love you all and will keep you in my prayers.

My sincere condolences to the children and family of Melissa, she was a beautiful soul ,warm and very friendly. She’s at peace now no longer having to battle life’s ups and downs. All of our hearts reach out to Melissa and her family. We try not to be saddened by Melissa’s passing over to the Lord in heaven. We know Jesus has reached out and taken Melissa within his loving hands. She is now forever safe and at peace watching over her family.

Due to the Covid health crisis, none of us could get to Vero Beach in person. That's where Millennium took over. They helped us manage everything, coordinated with a cemetery in Maine, managed the obituaries, expedited all the paperwork, and even delivered an important document locally that saved us days. Funeral director Rachel was a godsend, and she made it clear what she was going to do, and what we needed to do. If you know what you want, Millennium is highly recommended, and the savings versus the full service mortuaries is significant.
