Michael D. Lally II, succumbed to his illness after a valiant battle with cancer on December 28, 2025, with his devoted family by his side.
Mike began his career and family in Geneva, New York as a bricklayer. In 1984, he moved his family to South Florida where he began a lengthy career as a luxury home builder for 40 years. He embraced opportunity fiercely, worked tirelessly and never shied away from taking risks. He built a business based solely on referrals and was a highly sought after and respected builder. He selflessly contributed to home building for veterans and those in need through Every Dream Has A Price, Inc. Also during that time, he co-owned FoxRun Vineyards in Geneva, helping to build that business, partnered in several other business ventures, and became a licensed Coast Guard captain, and an honorary St. Lucie County Deputy Sheriff.
He brought energy and charisma into every room he entered and every adventure he was on. Whether it was hitting the Las Vegas strip, air boating and nabbing a 12-foot alligator, hog hunting, or spending hours fishing on Lake Okeechobee or Headwaters Lake, his passion for life was evident. He had a quick wit and a gift for connecting with people, making strangers friends and moments into memories. If you were in his corner, you were there for life.
A proud Italian American, Mike’s life was defined by immense generosity, unapologetically strong opinions, resilience, and an unmistakeable joy and zeal for living. His life story is filled with traditions: Sunday and holiday family dinners, laughter, shared stories and spirited exchange of views. He was a member of the St. Helen Catholic Church and Knights of Columbus.
But his greatest joy and accomplishment was the tight-knit family he adored. Mike is survived by his wife of 54 years, Nancy Treadwell Lally, his son Dan and daughter-in-law Jennifer, and two grandsons Daniel Jr. and Justin. He is also survived by his sisters Michele Lally Allen (Mike) and Melanie Lally Kransler (Bryan), and nephews Mathew Allen and Michael Colizzi (Brooke). He was predeceased by his parents Mike Lally Sr. and Barbara Lally.

I have so many good memories of my cousin Michael growing up in Geneva , and his visiting my Family after we moved to California. My Father and I drove to Geneva from California back in the day to visit, and Michael made a point to come see my while I was there . I even made a point to visit him and Nancy during a stop in Florida while I was in the Navy. Enjoyed my talks with him the last 2 years and was so sorry to hear of his passing. God Bless the Family and will see you again one day Michael.
