Michael Joseph Barham Jr.

August 05, 1983 ~ April 29, 2021

Michael J Barham Jr., 37, passed away unexpectedly on April 29th, 2021 in West Palm Beach, FL.

He was born on Aug. 5th, 1983 in Red Bank, NJ at Riverview Medical. He relocated with his family to Vero Beach, FL where Michael spent his childhood and adult years. He recently moved back to the Garden State. He was a jack of all trades from construction, to running the family business at Penny Hill subs and underwater welding. Michael graduated with an underwater welding degree from Divers Academy International in Erial, NJ. He worked in different locations along the shores of the east coast from New York to Fort Lauderdale areas, and many other beautiful locations around the world. He absolutely loved what he did for a living. He truly was the most fun loving, abundantly caring, sweet natured, charismatic, ambitious, and quick-witted person to know. He also had a talent for art that many did not know he had. He truly was taken way too soon and will be deeply missed.

He is predeceased by his grandparents Richard and Clair Byrne, Thomas, and Helen (Betty) Barham. Surviving are his mother Regina and Jeffrey Ingrassia of Red Bank, NJ., his father Michael J Barham Sr. of Vero Beach, FL., his sister Betsie Barham of Long Branch, NJ., his brother Bobby and sister-in-law, Caitlin Barham, and nephew Bennett Barham of Wall, NJ.

Michael will be deeply missed by so many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Michael will be cremated in Vero Beach, FL. And laid to rest in New Jersey. Due to COVID restriction, the Mass of the Christian burial will be for family members only. There will be a celebration of life at The Moose Lodge in Vero Beach on May 22nd from 2pm till 8pm. In the future there will also be a celebration of life in New Jersey.

In Lieu of flowers please donate to:

The first time I ever met Michael was when he offered to help me, a kid who he had never met before, move my bags and things out of my college dorm so I could get home. It was when we were first sent home early because of a big Coronavirus scare, so the roads and everyone were already hectic as it was, yet he still came up. He also came along with us there to help me move back the following semester. He was always kind to me and always spoke very highly of me.

I remember when Christmas was coming around he was the one that told my mom I would probably want a PS5 before even I mentioned that to her or anyone or even asked, he just knew and was already thinking about me. He always treated me with kindness and I will never forget that.

Mike,

You were a special human being. You always made us laugh and were always smiling. Amongst all the clowning though you were serious and would drop anything to help a friend. I am heartbroken to hear about your passing and you will leave a hole in the family and friends circle that can never be filled. Godspeed brother. Until we meet again.

  • The service from Millennium was outstanding. Rachel was sweet, personable and very comforting. It was important to me that my dad was kept locally where I knew where he would be. Very nice facility, state of the art and quality of my fathers remains were so refined compared to my mothers years ago. I highly recommend this place for an affordable choice for your loved one. Thank you for making an already stressful event easy. With high regards, the Esposito and Keith Family.

  • Millennium Cremation provided a fantastic service to our family at a difficult time. Our beloved mother passed away in Vero Beach and the rest of the family was in other parts of the country. Due to the Covid health crisis, none of us could get to Vero Beach in person. That's where Millennium took over. They helped us manage everything, coordinated with a cemetery in Maine, managed the obituaries, expedited all the paperwork, and even delivered an important document locally that saved us days. Funeral director Rachel was a godsend, and she made it clear what she was going to do, and what we needed to do. If you know what you want, Millennium is highly recommended, and the savings versus the full service mortuaries is significant.
