Mr. Frederick Charles Iannalfo

May 20, 1941 ~ June 30, 2020

Frederick (Fred) Charles Iannalfo, 79 of Fort Pierce, FL passed away Tuesday, June 30, 2020 at Lawnwood Regional Medical Center.  He was a loving husband of Linda for 54 years; beloved father of Debbie Metzemaekers (husband, Neil) of Miramar, FL and Lynda Iannalfo Garvia (husband, Joseph) of Pembroke Pines, FL; and cherished grandfather of Samantha Metzemaekers and Kathryn Grone.

Born May 20, 1941 in Lawrence, Massachusetts he was the son of Anthony Frederick and Antoinette (Coppola) Iannalfo. Fred graduated from Tenney High School in 1959.  He moved to Hollywood, Florida in 1985 from Methuen, Massachusetts later moving to Port St. Lucie, FL in 1997.

Fred served his country with service in the U. S. Army, National Guard of Massachusetts and as a Reserve of the Army.  He was honorably discharged after nine years of service and had attained the rank of Master Sergeant.

Fred started his career as a grocery store manager where he met the love of his life, his wife Linda in Methuen, Massachusetts. He was multi-talented and was a master carpenter, the highest designation available within the carpentry profession; like his late father he was also skilled and had worked as a machinist.

Fred was an avid gun collector and enjoyed trap shooting and going to the gun range. He loved being on the ocean, enjoyed cruising, and deep sea fishing with his Uncle Mac. Most of all he enjoyed sharing life and spending time with his wife Linda.  Gatherings and vacations with his whole family were very special to him.

Fred was a Roman Catholic and a former member of St. Lucie Catholic Church in Methuen, Massachusetts.

  • The service from Millennium was outstanding. Rachel was sweet, personable and very comforting. It was important to me that my dad was kept locally where I knew where he would be. Very nice facility, state of the art and quality of my fathers remains were so refined compared to my mothers years ago. I highly recommend this place for an affordable choice for your loved one. Thank you for making an already stressful event easy. With high regards, the Esposito and Keith Family.

  • Millennium Cremation provided a fantastic service to our family at a difficult time. Our beloved mother passed away in Vero Beach and the rest of the family was in other parts of the country. Due to the Covid health crisis, none of us could get to Vero Beach in person. That's where Millennium took over. They helped us manage everything, coordinated with a cemetery in Maine, managed the obituaries, expedited all the paperwork, and even delivered an important document locally that saved us days. Funeral director Rachel was a godsend, and she made it clear what she was going to do, and what we needed to do. If you know what you want, Millennium is highly recommended, and the savings versus the full service mortuaries is significant.
