Patrick Francis Haigler

July 20, 1983 ~ February 08, 2021

Patrick Francis Haigler:  1983-2021

It is with great sadness we announce the unexpected passing of Patrick Francis Haigler, 37, of Vero Beach, Florida.  He was born on July 20, 1983, in Fairfax, Virginia, to Wilson and Peggy Haigler.  He graduated Fairfax High School in 2001 and completed his education at Northern Virginia Community College in information technology.  During this time, he worked in the food and beverage industry beginning as a waiter and working his way to restaurant management.  Patrick moved to Vero Beach in early 2004 where he continued working in food and beverage.  Soon after his arrival in Vero Beach he met his future wife Erin Brown and they were married in 2004.  Patrick and Erin’s only child Samantha was born in June 2005.  Samantha was the light of Patrick’s life; the reason he never gave up, always working hard to be a better man.

Most anyone who knew Patrick will remember him as a kind and gentle soul. He had a very generous and energetic spirit.  He was empathetic to the needs of everyone around him and loved deeply.  He had a thirst for knowledge and was constantly learning new things.  He was a guy with a big ego, tons of confidence and a zest for life. Patrick was quite artistic and enjoyed gardening and landscaping.

Patrick will be missed immensely by his many friends who loved him. He is survived by his beloved daughter Samantha, his father, Dan, and his three brothers Daniel, Michael, and Desmond, and his grandfather Robert O’Neal.  Patrick was predeceased by his mother, Peggy who passed away in February 2015.

Patrick’s love of family and his spirit for life in the face of adversity will live on in all of us who cherished his life.

To Patrick:

May the road rise to meet you,

May the wind be always at your back.
May the sunshine warm upon your face.
And rains fall soft upon your fields.
And until we meet again,
May God hold you in
the hollow of His hand.

Even though we didn’t talk as much after I moved to Maryland, we still did our best to keep in touch and see each other when I came back to VA to visit. I’ll never forget you teaching me how to rollerblade. Going to oak green pool each and every day we could! Going to Planet play and having a blast playing laser tag! Exploring the woods between your neighborhood & mine! Walking to and from school each day. Having the same class 3rd to 6th grade!! Having little camp outs in front of Linda’s house! Climbing trees. The skating rink, birthdays! All of it!! You were always a blast to be around! Always laughing and having fun! I am hoping you are at peace now. I miss chatting with you here & there over the years. God and your momma have you now, and you are safe in their arms and wrapped in their love! Rest easy Patrick!

Patrick had a heart of gold and a smile that would light up the room. He loved his friends and family fiercely. Patrick told me stories about of his mother, father, grandfather, brothers, daughter as well as others that made me feel the love he had for each and everyone he spoke of. Most of us think – there will be tomorrow to speak to someone. Don’t hold back that apology you have been meaning to make, the “Thank you” or telling someone you care. Celebrate the love and kindness of Patrick in your heart. Let him live on thru stories of him, with a smile on your face, knowing he is at peace.

I met Patrick in 2012 at IAR sitting on his bike. Since that day we became great friend. I was blessed to know him, he took care of Sola when i was in hospital in2013 for 2weeks and took care of Cooper in 2020 when i had surgery again.
Patrick had huge heart and ego and that made Patrick , Patrick.
The last few years my health went downhill and Patrick was there to help out. He cleaned the pool, house and car. Heck he would shop for me. I give thanks to Jesus that He put Patrick in my life.
I miss him, but i know he’s watching over me.
Thank you God for putting Patrick in my life, now he’s with You and his Mom.

I just learned of his passing today and this is such sad news. I’ve know Patrick since elementary school. He was the first boy to french kiss me. He would bring me little gifts, like a rose. We lived within walking distance of each other as kids growing up.

I would see him from time to time as adults running into him ar various places . He adored his daughter and he ached to see her. He was very fond of his mother and he missed her alot.

The past few times I spoke with him within the past half year he sounded like he had a lot of struggles and I didn’t know what he needed or what I could do for him.

He is gone way to soon. I will continue to pray for him. My condolences go out to his family and loved ones.

  • The service from Millennium was outstanding. Rachel was sweet, personable and very comforting. It was important to me that my dad was kept locally where I knew where he would be. Very nice facility, state of the art and quality of my fathers remains were so refined compared to my mothers years ago. I highly recommend this place for an affordable choice for your loved one. Thank you for making an already stressful event easy. With high regards, the Esposito and Keith Family.

  • Millennium Cremation provided a fantastic service to our family at a difficult time. Our beloved mother passed away in Vero Beach and the rest of the family was in other parts of the country. Due to the Covid health crisis, none of us could get to Vero Beach in person. That's where Millennium took over. They helped us manage everything, coordinated with a cemetery in Maine, managed the obituaries, expedited all the paperwork, and even delivered an important document locally that saved us days. Funeral director Rachel was a godsend, and she made it clear what she was going to do, and what we needed to do. If you know what you want, Millennium is highly recommended, and the savings versus the full service mortuaries is significant.
