Penny Phipps-Ramirez

February 12, 1958 ~ March 23, 2021

Penny Phipps-Ramirez, age 63, died at VNA hospice house on March 23, 2021 surrounded by her husband and daughter. She began cancer treatment after a recent diagnosis and unfortunately was lost too soon.
Penny is survived by husband Joseph Ramirez, children Sarah Pauletti (Patrick) and Robert Sublett (Lewis), grandchildren Vance and Alyssa, siblings Pamela, Mark, and Jo Ann Phipps, and parents Richard and Thurley Phipps.
She grew up in Maryland graduating from Surrattsville High School in Clinton, MD and also resided between Clarksville, TN and Vero Beach, FL. She retired from the real estate industry to travel with her husband while cruising. When on land, she also helped with the Census Bureau. In her spare time, she loved visiting her grandkids and buying them clothes, cooking new recipes, sewing and quilting.
