We were friends with Phil for more than 40 years. We shared lots of good times with him, his mom and his aunts back in Boca/Delray, then continued our friendship when he followed our move to Vero.
Sunday football will not be the same without him talking through the game and swearing he’ll never watch the Dolphins again if they don’t win.
We will miss him.

What a pleasure to know you, Phil. Witnessing the endearing love between you and your sister, who stood by your side daily in these final weeks has restored our faith in humanity. A true testament of loyalty unspeakable. Action undoubtedly speaks far louder than words when the rubber meets the road. Glad to witness the comfort that that kinship brought you in your final days. Rest in peace, soldier.

Phil, we were brothers sewn from the same fabric, hard working, honest and fun loving. Our mutual sarcasm, yet straight forward honesty was not best shared with all, though the many friends you made in Boca/Delray and Vero, knew you were a true and dependable friend.
Over the last year or so we did not interact often, though we know you relished the couple visits we had when Rick & Dave Summers, Tom Brannigan, Bobby, Phyllis and I would come visit you at your home.
Going through the many pictures we had from our years together, one stood out from 2003, when we were going to Rick’s daughters wedding. In this picture, you and I dressed in coats and ties, with your Mother Edie standing between us. This picture brought back a memory for Phyllis and I, at another time while with your Mother and your Aunt Maureen. They both agreed, upon their leaving this earth they were going to will Phillip, to Phyllis and I.
Now you are with your dear Mother and beloved Aunt Maureen. We will always remember, though not blood, you are a brother to me, Phyllis and Stephen. From the bottom of my heart, Jim!
