Raymond Lee Smith, 80 of Vero Beach was born in Stanford Arkansas died on the 8th day of September 2020. He was the son of James Woodrow Smith and Annie Elizabeth Mathews and born on the 9th day of November 1939.

He was preceded in death by his Mother, Father, brothers Thomas Grover, and James Calvin. He is survived by his youngest brother Monte Ray of Missouri.

He was the father of 5 children , 4 boys and 1 girl. The oldest were Christopher Lee and Cheryl Lynn twins born 7/31/1959 both of Florida, then Steven Ray born 7/11/1960 of Vero Beach, Brian Edward of Cummings Georgia and the youngest Michael Dean of Port St. Lucie, Florida. He was the grandfather of 8 wonderful grandchildren, Ireland Rene of Missouri, Sara Ashley of Tennessee, Nicholas Karl and Triniti Amber of Georgia, Eric Dean, Blake Michael, Maike Anne of Colorado and Kurt A. of Texas.

We was loved by his family and will be missed by so many more.

  • Millennium Cremation provided a fantastic service to our family at a difficult time. Our beloved mother passed away in Vero Beach and the rest of the family was in other parts of the country. Due to the Covid health crisis, none of us could get to Vero Beach in person. That's where Millennium took over. They helped us manage everything, coordinated with a cemetery in Maine, managed the obituaries, expedited all the paperwork, and even delivered an important document locally that saved us days. Funeral director Rachel was a godsend, and she made it clear what she was going to do, and what we needed to do. If you know what you want, Millennium is highly recommended, and the savings versus the full service mortuaries is significant.
