We hadn’t been close for some time, and I carry that with a mix of sadness and reflection. Life has a way of creating space we don’t always know how to close, but the love never left.
Rhonda was a fierce woman strong, bold, unstoppable. A true boss. She poured herself into her children and especially her grandbabies, who meant everything to her. I didn’t know them well, but I know how deeply she loved them. That love was her heartbeat.
She moved through life with power, passion, and a spirit that couldn’t be tamed. Her strength, her hustle, and her selflessness are what I’ll always remember.
To everyone feeling this loss, especially her children, grandchildren, and those closest to her. I’m sending patience, mercy, and calming peace your way. May you feel her love

Rhonda and I shared the darkest moment of our lives when her husband Jonathan died. Rhonda single-handedly stood up against the whole medical system and got the best care Jonathan could ever have. She was the best person to have by your side when times were tough and would give the people she loved everything. The world will be a smaller place now.
I didn’t see you a lot but I thought of you often. I will miss you.
