Richard Allen Johnson

January 31, 1953 ~ November 14, 2022

On the evening of November 14, 2022, Richard Allen Johnson passed away at his home in Vero Beach, Florida at the age of 68.

In 1954, he was born in Lynn, Massachusetts. Mr. Johnson joined the United States Army in July 1970. He proudly served as an airborne trooper in the 82nd Division and was honorably discharged in August 1973.

Following his time in the Army, Richard married Lisa Cummings and together they raised four children. He was a loving father and always stayed involved in all his children’s activities.

He leaves his memories to be cherished by his wife, Lisa; four children, Melissa, Carolyn, Anthony, and Katie; niece, Nicole and many more loving family members. He was predeceased by his brother, Philip.

Words can’t ease the pain you guys have to bare. I just pray that the memories of him give you comfort in your sadness. I’ve said this before he was such a cool guy. Always had something to say. He could fill a library with stories. I will miss him that’s for sure. Lisa ❤️ Carol, Melissa, Anthony, Katie his multiple grandchildren none of which would be here without him. you guys have my deepest condolences. Rest In Peace Richard.

Funeral director Rachel was a godsend, and she made it clear what she was going to do, and what we needed to do.
