Richard E. Fritz

November 11, 1921 ~ February 14, 2023

Richard Edwin Fritz, 101, of Port Saint Lucie, Florida, passed away on February 14, 2023 at his home.

Born in in Chicago Illinois, he had been a resident of Port Saint Lucie for twelve years, coming from Grand Island, Nebraska.

He honorably served his Country as a Member of the United States Navy and received his BS from the Illinois Institute of Technology (IIT).  Prior to his retirement, he was a Consulting Engineer with a firm in Chicago.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Heidi Marie Fritz.

Survivors include his wife of 66 years, Betty J. Fritz of Port Saint Lucie; his daughter, Sherry Magno of Mount Dora, FL; his granddaughter, Arial Harrington of Mount Dora; and his two nieces, Sharon Reynolds of Port Saint Lucie and Barbara Madsen of Chicago.
