Words cannot express my sadness when I learned of Rob’s passing. Rob was a good friend, always there when you needed a shoulder to lean on. He was a “give you the shirt off his back” guy. Always attentive to how you were doing. Rob was a man with a big heart and never afraid to speak your mind.

I had known Rob for over 20 years. We shared a lot of experiences while he worked at Swarthmore College with me. If you needed backup for a situation you would never think twice about him being there at your side.

Rob was like a brother from another mother with me. We had our ups and downs as any brothers would but always came out on the right side having each other’s backs. Such a good friend to have.

I am grateful we stayed in contact after he retired to Florida to begin the next chapter of his life with Kim. He was happy to be living in Florida. I will miss Rob with great sadness and hope to see him again.

My condolences to Kim, I know how much he cared for you. To Rob’s children and grandchildren, I know how much he loved you all.

Thank you for being a good friend, a confidant and above all a good human being. You will always be jn our hearts, a friend like you never really leaves, we will remember the stories, and your sayings.

Rest in Peace my dear friend and brother. I know you have a place in heaven.

With great sadness,

Rob, you are a true friend. I don’t say were because you will always live on in my heart. It was my honor to be part of your life and only wish I had met you earlier. As you know ours careers paralleled a lot and I’ve often said I wished I could have worked side by side with you during our law enforcement careers. Thank you again for making my time at Cleveland Clinic so enjoyable. I miss our morning meetings which included our very good friend Jeff. Rest in peace my brother. E.O.W. 05/21/23

I am truly saddened by Robbie’s passing. One of the best people to work with at Swarthmore College and to enjoy a laugh with. He had a work ethic like no other and when he dreamed, he dreamed big…..he found his dream with Kim in Florida. It was such a joy to see him realize the dream of Florida and to see the process unfurl. He was like a little kid at Christmas as the time got closer and closer to make the move. The only thing that gave him more joy was talking about his children and grandchildren. When Robbie became a grandparent for the first time, it was like he hit the lottery. I will miss the text messages he would send us all about his winter in Florida compared to ours up north!! Rest in Peace Robbie and Let God’s Perpetual Light Shine Upon You.

A tragic loss far too soon. Rob was the type of man with integrity and always put others before himself. One of the few who could bring joy and laughter to even the worst situations life could through at us. Your honesty, hard work and heart for standing up for what’s right changed lives. It was an honor to have worked with you my friend R.I.P

Rob and I were coworkers at Swarthmore College Dept. Of Public Safety for over twenty years. He was easy to work with, would do anything you asked and was one of the most reliable officers in the department. Rob was always early for his shift and would work as much overtime as you could give him. Rob loved driving to Florida for his family vacations and always said that when he left the College he was moving to Florida. His dream came true three years ago and it’s really sad that he didn’t get to enjoy it longer. My condolences to Kim, his children and grandchildren. May Rob rest in eternal peace with the Lord.

Dear Kim and family, the words and thoughts are hard at losing such a person as Burt. Having worked beside him at the prison and then at the college for such a long time. I feel that we knew more about each other than most family’s do. You, the kids and then the grandkids. I never heard or saw rain on his parade. He was called away too soon. May the Lord keep you in his heart until we all meet again.

Happy Birthday Dad! Today, would have been your 54th birthday. I hope you are somewhere up in heaven by a beach or pool underneath some palm trees. You were and still are the best father a son could have asked for. Thank you for being my father.

I love and miss you more than you can ever know.

  • The service from Millennium was outstanding. Rachel was sweet, personable and very comforting. It was important to me that my dad was kept locally where I knew where he would be. Very nice facility, state of the art and quality of my fathers remains were so refined compared to my mothers years ago. I highly recommend this place for an affordable choice for your loved one. Thank you for making an already stressful event easy. With high regards, the Esposito and Keith Family.

  • Millennium Cremation provided a fantastic service to our family at a difficult time. Our beloved mother passed away in Vero Beach and the rest of the family was in other parts of the country. Due to the Covid health crisis, none of us could get to Vero Beach in person. That's where Millennium took over. They helped us manage everything, coordinated with a cemetery in Maine, managed the obituaries, expedited all the paperwork, and even delivered an important document locally that saved us days. Funeral director Rachel was a godsend, and she made it clear what she was going to do, and what we needed to do. If you know what you want, Millennium is highly recommended, and the savings versus the full service mortuaries is significant.
