Robert W. (Bob) Burgarella, of Sebastian, FL, passed away on Friday, May 12th, 2023. He was born on October 31, 1938 in New Haven, CT, the son of Joseph Burgarella and Mary Voss Burgarella of West Haven, CT. He was a printer for 46 years, retiring in 2002 as Composing Room Supervisor after 37 years at the New Haven Register Newspaper. Bob spent a total of six years in both the Air and Army National Guards, and was a great fan of all things military. He loved people, nature, fishing, hunting, motorcycles, car racing, God, but especially his family. He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Judith Jamieson Burgarella; two daughters, Tracy Burgarella and spouse, Turin Saris of Chandler, AZ, and Robin Burgarella and spouse, Cass Curtis; granddaughter, Salem Curtis of Sebastian, FL; granddaughter, Ileana (husband Zach) Pullano of North Easton, MA, and his beloved little dog Piper. Donations may be made in Bob’s name to the Salvation Army.
