Words cannot begin to say how sorry I am to hear that Eugene has passed. When I found out he was so sick and talking his Aunt Katherine it brought tears to my eyes and I really believe that my mother was there with him. She thought the world of Eugene and Katherine and would always brag to her friends on his talents. May you find comfort from his memories and love which you will always have tucked deeply in your heart. Love to all my family.

Alan and I are so sorry for your loss. Eugene was also so good to us. Of course, Eugene and Katherine were always one. I was sharing today how Eugene called me just after I had turned 16 years old and asked me if I wanted a job. Johnson’s Flower World was looking for a delivering driver for the afternoons and on Saturday mornings. When I told him I didn’t have a way to get home during the week and home on Saturdays, he said, no problem. Katherine and I go by your house everyday and don’t mind taking you home at all. Who does that?! Selfless and generous people like Eugene and Kathy Davis!! They made our wedding bouquets out of silk flowers and baked our wedding cake too! Eugene, you and Kathy are such special people with godly hearts. Your family and friends all love you so much. Eugene, you have fought a good fight and finished your course. Kathy, may the peace that passes understanding comfort you now and in the days ahead. We love you and your family. Alan and Pam Schacht.

I’m so sorry for your loss. Roger was a special person with an honest soul. I learned so much working with him at the hospital. He always pushed me to be the best I could be and taught me that I was capable of doing anything I set my mind to! I have so many great memories! He will be greatly missed!

Creative, multitalented, selfless, generous, an infectious smile, dependable, kind hearted, just to name only a few of the many qualities that I witnessed through my years growing up around Eugene & without a doubt Kathy! I rarely saw one without the other and if I did, the other wasn’t far away.

Giving thanks for a life well lived! In the days ahead remember the sweet times, tell the stories, laugh and remember a great man! Our lives are richer having known him.

Praying for continued peace and strength for the days ahead.

I am so sorry for your loss. Our family and the Davis went to the same church for years. And my heart was saddened when I heard the news of his passing. I have so many memories of Eugene and was my go to guy when I needed my baseball glove re-stitched, he would always laughed when I would walk in, and say now what have you done? I‘ll see you the next time. And he did. Quite simply put, he was the best. And that scratches the surface of who he was.

Eugene was a a great man and had a servants heart. Evident by serving in church and the volunteer ambulance squad. And I’m confident that he hear these words when he walk to the gates of heaven “ Well done my good and faithful servant, come enter into your rest.
Kathy, Craig, Kim and the family our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Dear Eugene,
I spent many days at your house. Swimming in the pool and letting Bear out, even though you didn’t want him In the pool. I remember the cabin in Georgia and building a damn to float down, looking for scorpions before crawling in the bed. St. Augustine vacations and how much my parents loved being with y’all. I will always remember your laugh and watching you decorate cakes. You have a special place in my heart. I love you bunches!

  • The service from Millennium was outstanding. Rachel was sweet, personable and very comforting. It was important to me that my dad was kept locally where I knew where he would be. Very nice facility, state of the art and quality of my fathers remains were so refined compared to my mothers years ago. I highly recommend this place for an affordable choice for your loved one. Thank you for making an already stressful event easy. With high regards, the Esposito and Keith Family.

  • Millennium Cremation provided a fantastic service to our family at a difficult time. Our beloved mother passed away in Vero Beach and the rest of the family was in other parts of the country. Due to the Covid health crisis, none of us could get to Vero Beach in person. That's where Millennium took over. They helped us manage everything, coordinated with a cemetery in Maine, managed the obituaries, expedited all the paperwork, and even delivered an important document locally that saved us days. Funeral director Rachel was a godsend, and she made it clear what she was going to do, and what we needed to do. If you know what you want, Millennium is highly recommended, and the savings versus the full service mortuaries is significant.
