Rosemary Ann White, 83, of Vero Beach, Florida, passed away on September 12, 2026.
She was born in New Haven, Connecticut, on June 6, 1943, to Joseph and Rosemary Vizziello. Rosemary had been a resident of Vero Beach since 1984, coming from Cheshire, Connecticut.
Rosemary graduated from Hillhouse High School in 1961, where she was captain of the majorettes and Secretary of her class, and later attended Stone Business College. She married Arthur White on June 17, 1967.
Rosemary had a lifelong love of music, dance and the arts. She worked at Yale University and later founded Rosemary’s School of Dance, which eventually became the Academy of Dance Arts in Cheshire, Connecticut. Through teaching, she shared her creativity and love of dance with generations of students.
More than anything, Rosemary will be remembered for her kind and gentle spirit. Deeply selfless, Rosemary consistently put the needs of others before her own and had a special way of making people feel heard, accepted and cared for.
Her faith was also an important part of her life, and she loved God deeply.
She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Arthur White; her sons, AJ Leblanc and Peter White; her brother, Joseph Vizziello; and many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
She was predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Rosemary Vizziello; and her brothers, Francis Vizziello and Vito Vizziello.
